Dedicated to Excellence in Foot & Ankle Care

Dr. Chris Womac, DPM

Dr. Chris Womac is a dedicated podiatrist serving patients at Foot and Ankle Associates in Tumwater, Tacoma, and Centralia, WA. Originally from Olympia, Dr. Womac is proud to care for the community he calls home.

Dr. Womac earned his undergraduate degree from Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, WA, before completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH. He went on to complete his residency at Henry Ford Warren (formerly Ascension Macomb-Oakland) in Warren, MI, where he gained comprehensive training in both surgical and conservative foot and ankle care.

Dr. Womac is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). He is Podiatric Board Qualified.

Drawn to podiatry after working as a back office and surgical assistant at Foot and Ankle Associates for three years, Dr. Womac saw firsthand the immediate, positive impact podiatry can have on a patient’s quality of life. He enjoys the hands-on nature of the specialty, appreciating the balance of diagnostics and surgical treatment to help patients get back on their feet.

Outside of the office, Dr. Womac loves skiing, golfing, traveling, and cheering on the Mariners (still holding out hope for that World Series win!). He also enjoys spending time with his wife, son, family, and friends. Fun fact: he played college baseball and is the youngest of five brothers.
